This course provides a basic understanding of an Industrial Lift Truck’s control system.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to:
- Identify where battery positive potential is distributed with the battery plugged in.
- Identify the current flow path for the following events:
turning the key switch on
making the truck travel, and
a lift and lower function
- Explain the function of the components within the circuit: battery, fuses, keyswitch, VR1, lift/lower switches, lift pump contactor, main contactor, lower solenoid, traction and lift pump motor, and the controller.
