This course provides a basic understanding of Raymond electrical schematics, their purpose, structure, and key elements.
Upon successful completion of this course, you will be able to correctly:
- State the purpose of the Raymond electrical schematics,
- State the purpose of each of the sheets of the Raymond electrical schematics,
- Describe how Raymond's electrical schematics are drawn,
- Describe the basic layout of the main sheet,
- Describe the basic types of lines and connections used on the Raymond electrical schematics,
- Use the legend to identify a component’s identification, zone, description and locate the component on the other sheets,
- Explain the naming convention of two control wires or component connections,
- Describe and identify the description of two notes,
- Identify the additional information that may be contained on a Raymond electrical schematic.
